Welcome.

Ms. Regina, first I want to start with what was your response going through that trial where all three defendants were found guilty?

Well, it was kind of depressing and stressful because when they done it, I was filled with so much anger.

But after seeing all the evidence and stuff, I was more comfortable with it and with the team that was working on my behalf, on my husband.

And we're going to get to the evidence that you're talking about.

I guess first off, let's fill everybody in.

Tell me about you and your husband, how long y'all had been together, how y'all met.

Tell me about that.

Well, I met my husband in high school in 78.

And we've been together 30 years.

We was married 30 years.

And for 48 years, he's been in my life.

Take me back to the day when you found out what happened.

Well, I wasn't home, and the day it happened, I have a caregiver, and they got in touch with me, and they were telling me that my husband was unresponsive.

So I knew my husband had a bad heart, so I thought he had a heart attack.

So when I arrived there, I still was thinking in terms maybe he had a heart attack.

But I was so out of it when I seen the cautious tape around my house, I still didn't think somebody had killed him because he was not that type of person.

So when they came to me and told me that they had shot somebody, shot him, I just like automatic, just didn't understand.

And I was just, just, just couldn't believe it.

And this happened inside your own home.

They came

to your house in your bedroom for your husband, Mr. Herman Harris.

And you were not at home at the time.

No, I wasn't.
