So if your business dragged you to couples therapy or if you took it to couples therapy, what do you think would that, like, be all about? What would you discuss?
Like, get comfortable in the trade-offs, because think about this a lot.
I just quit my job, and I decided to start sort of going back and working with old employers of mine in a freelance capacity.
And it was really hard for me for a long time, and this is something I actually discussed in therapy, which was the lack of the 40-hour workweek and the balance of, like, refinding that, and is it okay if I don't work eight hours a day, that kind of thing.
And so what I've learned now starting my own business after I freelanced, I worked with my sister in her company for a number of years, which we still do, and now we have this company together, is that I give up a lot being a founder, right? When we go out on our own, we give up a lot.
If you live in the United States, you might give up health insurance, which I, you know, did.
And so if you don't enjoy the benefits of that, you're just giving up things.
Like, if I feel the need to go down and sit down and have an eight-hour workday and a 40-hour workweek and not work on weekends and not work at night, then I can do that.
