Obviously, Tim Burton's second film, which is crazily confident for a second film just to do this.
And I was thinking about it in a way that, for us, was Tim Burton kind of our Spielberg? Yeah.
Because I think Tim Burton was the first sort of director that you knew it was a Tim Burton film.
And almost like we didn't have a lot of those.
Like, obviously, now you've got Wes Anderson and, you know, even to a lesser extent, we've talked about Edgar Wright in the past.
But, like, it felt like back in the day, like, even, you know, as a 10-year-old or sort of 13, 14-year-old, you couldn't...

But like this, this was so his like, yeah, just everything about the films that he made.
was so clearly like tim burton and like a tim burton film was was a thing and so like that was you know i remember the fact that he did was doing batman and that sort of seemed crazy cool edward scissorhands was a real sort of yeah like that was just everywhere and was very much in our yeah well in my sort of life everyone was talking about it and referencing it and stuff so This was kind of the first one of that run where you just sort of, yeah, you sort of saw exactly his style, what he wanted to do, that kind of,
you know,
goth style.
And what was his first film? It was actually Pee Wee's Big Adventure.
Yeah.
Very, very different.
Yeah.
Which is highly regarded, funnily enough.
Yeah.
And I've never seen it, but it is, yeah.
Tiff speaks kindly of it.

got Pee
