Do a little artist corner and show the community the creativity that you have spawned from your infinite Modest Mouse inspired brain with the pieces that you've made inspired by Modest Mouse.
The main one that came recently was definitely Third Eye.
So with Third Eye, with listening to Third Eye, well, Third Side of the Moon, listening to that, you know, over and over, it just made me feel.
And I had the idea for the You know, throughout the song, he mentions the different eye colors often, not being able to remember the sequence.
And then the colors change throughout the song as well.
It's not always blue or green or bling or glean or blonde or any of those.
And so the final time that he asks about not remembering what color your eyes were, it was blue.
green and brown and red.
And so I really wanted to figure out how to capture that in a singular idea and it not necessarily be a phase of all three together, but that kind of cellular looking individual irises on the eye.
And so I did that one.
Um, and it kind of gave me this idea for a series of eye drawings.
Um, I, I feel like modest mouse does you like there, the hat is you, you have your hat, obviously there's the other, yeah, there's the other modest mouse hat as well with the eyes looking up with the rainbow rainbow.
connecting them and i love the way that one looks as well um i would definitely rock it if i like baseball caps but i don't care for them on me which is unfortunate because it's the perfect place to put that type of art
right
but um yeah the eyes and you know i feel like modest mouse also utilizes a lot of hands and there's different body parts in there without it being you know like a so much of like a body horror or anything like that.
It's just the utilizing of the beautiful parts of our body in maybe a different type of way.
And it's very fascinating how the, in particular, you've captured this eye, especially with like, whose eye in particular is this like modeled after?
It's mine.
it's mine um i went with my eye because obviously for ease but also i find my eyes to be pretty deep set and so you can get more of a dynamic shape out of them with the ice cream party eye
i ended up actually utilizing my partner's eyes um they have very big dreamy eyes and i thought that would be nicer on a smaller size And their eyes are also very, they can be very sad and weepy.
