Modest Mouse

How about that? That's night one alone.

Night two, Interpol, Modest Mouse, and Bridget Calls Me Baby, our Chicago friends.

And night three, Weezer, the Linda Lindas out in front.

You can't lose with either night, and they're all so different with all three nights.

Pretty

good.

29, also a band at Twisted is Modest Mouse, Float On.

So now we're at 29.

So give your top five list that changed people's image of you.

My top five was yeah, yeah, maps, Lumineers, bright side, modest mouse, dashboard, stroke someday, and the killer's my own soul's warning, which people seem to like.

But the problem is as soon as we got off the show yesterday, as soon as I got on the bus.

I realized, oh my God, I forgot five other songs that I love.

And Chicago's ultimate party band, One for the Ditch, which features actor Dermot Mulroney.

He's a dreamboat.

Night two is Interpol, Modest Mouse, Bridget Calls Me Baby, our Chicago favorites.

Night three, oh yeah, I don't know, Weezer, the Linda Lindas out in front.

He's a dreamboat.

So all those tickets...

But I've been on that train for about 20 years and I was just so happy that it got in.

Float On by Modest Mouse, amazing.

Two Undeniable, my chemical romance songs.

And lastly, there's an underground act called Yezu, J-E-S-U.

That's like one of the hardest Smith songs to play and learn, and his guitar lines on that are really interesting and impressive.

Here it's more like his work with Modest Mouse.

not so much like with the smiths which i like i guess he shouldn't be trying to to just do his smith's guitar style forever that was happening literally 40 years ago at this point more a little bit more for some of the albums so um i didn't really i didn't really feel that much i feel

like this um

I don't mind being late to that show

now, by the way, by the way, you guys know the band modest mouse, right? Yeah.

They're on here.

They do not for their live shows.

I love Float

On.

It is not my favorite Modest Mouse song.

I'm with you.

Really?

Modest Mouse, maybe? Float On? Float On, not on there.

The Shins? Another one that's not on there, which is surprising.

Phoenix? Nope.

Yeah, let's do that.

Okay.

So the multiple choice was The Strokes, Arcade Fire, The Killers, or Modest Mouse.

Those don't...

And Caroline's not afraid to lay themselves bare with a laugh.

uh it's like the album is like this kind of full-length cell phone and musically it's a really fun listen uh you know i don't like to do this but if you're into like illuminati hotties you'll really love this record and vice versa by the way if you're really into carolyn rose you'll like illuminati hotties um rose just finished up a tour supporting modest mouse Remember Modest Mouse? Love Modest Mouse.

Actually, their last album was really

good.

They just did a tour with Modest Mouse and now is going through doing a bunch of in-store appearances throughout November in the U.S. and in Europe, I believe.

whatever uh holiday is the one that ends up being the top 200 foo fighters you would think a foo fighter song would be in the top 10 yeah wrong they've got times like these at number 11 that makes no sense to me no sense to me whatsoever so there's a lot of there's a lot of tracks on here that i'm just like these should be higher and it's not a knock on these other songs that they pick or my personal favorite bruce springsteen's the risings in the top 30 comes in at number 27 The Rising? Yeah, The Rising.

Also, Modest Mouse, Float On.

That is at least top 15.

Good one.
