NEWS: 5 star, Easton Royal, flips from Texas to Florida

But first, let's talk about five-star, uh, wide receiver Easton Royal has flipped his commitment from Texas to Florida, and he's from n- he's from New Orleans, Louisiana.

Um, really g- he's a really good football player, dual sport athlete.

Um, he, he ran a 10.17 100-meter dash, so the kid can fly.

He can, he can definitely fly, right? But here's the thing, here's the thing.

I saw this coming, right? And, and if you have been keeping up with Easton Royal, you, you, you saw it too.

You saw it too.

So this isn't really a big surprise.

Where he's going, that could be a surprise.

But him, you know, flipping his commitment, it's, it's, it's not, it, it's not, it's not, uh, it doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

You gotta think, w- a f- uh, it was a few weeks ago, he was in the student section at LSU [laughs].

So it, it was, it was like-- And, and he's been committed to, he's been committed to Texas since November of 2025, and he was just in the student section, uh, at the LSU game.

If I'm not mistaken, it was for the, uh, Ole Miss game.

It was Ole Miss and LSU, if I'm not mistaken.

I could be m- you know, but I know he was at, he was in the student section for sure, 100%.

That was everywhere, right? That was everywhere.

So again, it doesn't surprise me.

It doesn't surprise me.

Does it suck? I mean, I, I guess, right? I guess.

He, he's not really proven, so we don't know what he can do on the college football level, right? Uh, 'cause it's a different level.

It's not high school anymore, so.

But with that being said, you know, we do wish him the best, you know, where- over with the Florida Gators.

But again, I wanna repeat it one more time, doesn't surprise me.

Doesn't surprise me.

And a lot of people suspect that he would go to LSU given that video, right? But ultimately, he ended up choosing the Florida Gators, and of course, of course.

So he did end up flipping, um, his, his, his commitment from Texas to Florida on Sunday.
