Ciaran CudahyHostHow you doing, Ciaran? No, my, my daughter finished the night shift this morning.
Um, and I was re- I r- I rang in actually because I took exception to the way you were trying to make out that the, you know, the strikers were inconveni- inconveniencing the public, you know, by missing appointments and stuff like that.
But, like, the thing about it is, and I know that from-
When you heard it
[laughs]

But I, what I said was tens of thousands of hospital appointments are canceled today.
But, yeah.
And, and that's, and, and that, and that's, that's accepted, but the thing is, from my point of view and from my daughter's point of view, the, the, the nurses have to actually fight for something because the way they're being treated in this country is disgraceful.
Like, it, it, like, my daughter comes home from work a couple of days of the week crying from what she has to be put through in work, and it's, it's not acceptable, you know? Like, she's, she's leaving the country in, at the end of the year because there's nothing here for anybody, and most of the people that she qualified with are also either left or on the way out the door.
And, like, this government has shown that the only thing that they will listen to is this kind of thing.
The fuel protests proved it, everything else that's gone on since has proved it.
They won't, like, if I treated one of my employees the way my daughter is treated by her employer, who's the government, I'd be put in jail.
You know? It's, it's not-
... like, uh, they're standing up for themselves, and they're dead right.
And I support them 100%.
So, okay.
