So I just wanted to make sure that the audience is... clear about that okay so for many people it's a choice you want to to create something that you are very passionate that you you love you don't count your hours but on the other hand there is a new uh trend and it's uh you can see in the in the latest report the general entrepreneurship monitor that one third of new entrepreneurs, new self-employed in Luxembourg are actually by necessity.
Why by necessity they have to go into entrepreneurship? Well, simply because we know what's happening.
So you are pointing out this word freelance and that's also for a lot of people it's a little bit confusing because we have a lot of different terms referring to one type of persons in Luxembourg.
So what we all have in common is that with the social security we are all registered under the status of independent.
In other countries, you are using entrepreneur and it doesn't necessarily mean that you are self-employed.
But in Luxembourg, if you own more than 25% of your company or 100%, or even if you don't have a company, you're self-employed, you're independent.
Can I be a member of the union of independent workers? And I say, well, are you an independent? No.
