Actress Selma Blair has appeared in court after her midair meltdown that ended in her arrest on several assault charges, and the story she's telling is she was confused and disoriented after missing several doses of the powerful medication she takes for her, uh, in remission multiple sclerosis.

... she was arraigned in court on two assault charges for allegedly repeatedly kicking a cop in the head and then attacking a nurse when they got her to hospital after her violent outburst on a Delta Airlines plane where she hit one fl- flight attendant and bit another.
She's facing between two and seven years in jail if she's convicted of these charges.
For now, she's been released on bail to appear in court again in mid-January.
