And that's one thing that I've really realized over the years is that the more discipline that I have in my life with me, the more respect I have for myself because I'm treating myself like I actually matter.

And as somebody who is a recovered people pleaser, that did everything for everyone and wanted to be everything, wanted to be everything for everyone.

I think when I realized that being disciplined with myself meant putting me first and You hear all of this about self-love, like run yourself a bath and take yourself for a massage.

And as much as I think all of those things are beautiful and are really nice, I don't think any of them really, really reflect self-love like it does discipline.

And when I talk about discipline, I'm not just talking about getting up at 5 a.m. And we'll get into that in a minute.

to yourself it's not breaking breaking the word your word to yourself because how many times in the last three weeks even in the last week have you said that you're going to do something and you haven't How many times have you promised someone that you would do something, but it meant breaking that promise to yourself? That you said you were going to the gym and you didn't because someone said, do you want to come here? Would you do this for me? How many times have you promised yourself? I am never going to do that again.
