That's an interesting clarification for us to start with because the Bible does not say that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute.

He was accused of not being a prophet because if he were a prophet, the Pharisees said he would know who this woman was.

So, some people believe that this is referring to Mary Magdalene, but that is not what Luke 7 says.

So Mary, called Magdalene, was a woman that was delivered of not one demon, not two demons, but she had seven demons that Jesus cast out of her.

So we should be careful not to give Mary a history that the Bible did not say belonged to her.

And this is an important psychological lesson Because we make mistakes sometimes of putting labels on people and attaching labels to people because of misinformation, because of wrong stories that have been spread about them.

And Mary Magdalene is an example, a biblical example of that, because she has been associated with a woman in Luke 7 who is believed to have been a prostitute, but that's not the same person that is referred to in Luke 8.

And thank you for clearing the air, because people can really spend years trying to escape something, somebody.

And especially with social media today, where someone has a big platform and they would make statements or accusations about a person that may not be rooted in facts.

And because you do not have the means to defend yourself, people put a label on you that does not belong.

So I like Proverbs 18, 21, which reminds us that death and life are in the power of the tongue.
