What if the thing you've spent months or even years fearing... never actually happens?
Cancer changed my body, but more than that, it changed my brain. It taught me to brace for bad news, crave certainty and live in survival mode. But as I reflect on this new chapter of life after leaving teaching, building a business and learning to slow down, I'm realising the biggest lessons cancer taught me weren't actually about cancer at all.
In this honest, unfiltered solo episode, I share the lessons I'm still learning every day: letting go of control, calming a nervous system that's been on high alert for too long, trusting that things can work out, and recognising the signs of post-traumatic growth.
We talk about fear, money mindset, motherhood, healing, why calm really is a superpower, and how sometimes life quietly redirects us towards something better than we could have planned ourselves.
If you've ever had a "Life After..." moment, whether that's cancer, grief, divorce, burnout, redundancy or simply waking up and realising the life you're living no longer feels like yours this episode is for you.
Maybe the biggest lesson of all is this...
