Because a lot of traders here trade with the trend and assume that means buying whenever price is going up or selling when price is going down.
But there's often a little bit more to it.
And you can get yourself into a very sticky situation by just trading that way.
Yeah, exactly.
A lot of traders get caught out by this because, you know, by the time the trend looks obvious, which is often when a lot of beginners will jump in, the move is probably already stretched.
And then when a move is stretched, that's often when you see the price pull back.
So the goal is not to jump in when the market is moving.
The goal is to identify the trend, wait for the pullback, and then look for, you know, suitable entries based on what the buyers or sellers are doing and waiting for that evidence that they've then pushed the trend back in that same direction.
