You've probably heard the phrase that the only consistent thing in life is change, or words to that effect.

And it's true, and it's part of the reason why change communication has become a much more sought-after skill in recent times.

And if there's one person who knows a thing or two about change communication and how our profession has evolved, it's Dr. Jen Frahm.

She's a global expert in organizational change, transformation, and change communication, and she's known for translating complexity into action.

She describes herself as equal parts truth-teller, ambiguity tamer, and practical problem-solver.

Jen is the co-founder of the Agile Change Leadership Institute, where she has helped thousands of practitioners and leaders build the capability to lead through complex, continuously evolving environments.

She's also the author of quite a few books, including Conversations of Change, Change Leader, The Agile Change Playbook, and she's just recently released her newest book, Change Communication.

Now, originally an academic, Jen's doctoral research examined how change communication shapes change receptivity, and it's work that continues to underpin her thinking today.

She has designed and delivered change across industries ranging from wine sales to wedding dresses, veteri- veterinary pharmaceuticals to energy utilities, and she's worked across government, corporate, and nonprofit sectors across more than 80 countries.

Now, in this conversation, Jen explains the difference between the different types of change communication, and we explore how that can relate to culture.

She also shares her views on how the profession will continue to evolve, and she shares some top tips grounded in neuroscience that you do not want to miss.
