Ready or not, the 4th quarter is here. It’s time to sell! The 4th quarter is crucial for any small business. It can make or break your year and generate the momentum you need going into the next year…
Let's start with the first focus area, and that's going to be building your Q4 sales strategy.
Now, when we start building our sales strategy, this is the pinnacle of what we do in the fourth quarter.
We've got to sell, sell, sell, and we've got to know what we're doing before we get into the fourth quarter.
And so one of the biggest flaws that I see only in myself and also just in general is that when I don't have enough inventory, when I don't have fresh inventory, we don't have new inventory.
We've got to take time to pull out the inventory that's existing in our shops right now, pull them out, re-bundle them, re-merchandise them, take new pictures, re-promote them.
So having new fresh inventory and Having existing inventory, we can pair together, we can market together, we can sell together.
And what I'm talking about, like in my example, is say I have a new sweatshirt line.
Maybe it's got four or five different sweatshirts, and I've got a bunch of accessories that have been stale in my business for a little while.
How can I pair the old accessories with the new sweatshirt line? That could be earrings.
And that's just taking some new fresh inventory, giving fresh life to my inventory and using some of my existing inventory to pair with that.
So think about your own industry and your own business and how can you make sure you have new inventory all the time and pair it and move some of the older inventory.
