Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam out of his eagerness to have more of the Quran, once he addressed Jibril alaihi salam and he said, "Why don't you visit us more than you already do?" Again, Jibril can't respond from his own self.
Wa ma natanazzalu illa bi amri rabbik lahu ma bayna aydina wa ma khalfana wa ma bayna dhalik wa ma kana rabbuka nasiya.
That is when we can arrive and attend the Earth with the verses of the Quran and the ayat.
The purpose of mentioning this is to show the attachment the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam had with the Quran.
