Um, so why do you guys feel like consent is important in these spaces?
You know, a lot of things go left-
Mm-hmm.

... because consent is not in the chat.

Yeah.

And we have seen time and time again people have really just terrible times at some of these parties, some of these socials, where they aren't really caring about who is respectful, who actually values consent in the space, who's gonna act accordingly.
And so when that happens, you run into a lot of people who don't know how to act, and then people, they get a bad taste in their mouth, and then now everyone thinks this community's full of predators and terrible individuals.
And that's why consent is important, and that's why we exist, right? [laughs]
Yeah.
And it's like even for someone who may be newer to the kink scene or-

... you know, curious about things, there's, like, negotiations and everything that goes into it, so it's just important to understand that it's the most important piece of everything that kinda guides how your experience can go.
The foundation.

I think about it like it's my body, it's my space.
I get to choose in this space what I get to do with it.
Yeah.
So, like, I get to control who has access to me, and I get to be picky about who gets that access, who gets to-

... come around me or who I engage in scenes with or anything like that.
And I feel like it's necessary to have that, 'cause oftentimes you can come into a space, especially as a single woman or new to the kink space, you don't know anybody.
