This week the Model Y L arrives in America with some surprises, Cybertruck is involved in a strange hostage situation and Cybercab part mysteriously shows up for Model Y before being pulled.
Kim JavaHostWe do.
So Tesla had an event held in Southern California, kind of the, making those first rounds, the public appearances with this vehicle, and some features came out of this vehicle that some people really didn't expect maybe to make it to this market, and some other new features that have never been in this market showing up in, in the Model YL as well.

So the new feature that I'm actually most excited about is the multi-row climate control.

You can adjust each row on the center touch screen, and it's not even just that, because the vehicle itself has way better thermal management control.
Yeah, this is compared to even the existing Juniper Model Ys.
Of course, you're talking about a longer wheel base, seven inches extended, and just a longer and larger cabin in general.
So to cool that more efficiently, Tesla's added some new features to the YL that are unique to it.
In fact, the cabin now cools some 15% faster.
So in sunny conditions, within 10 or 15 minutes, your cabin temperature reaches the desired temperature pretty quickly, even, even compared to existing Juniper Model Ys.
And they've done this and extended the range for this vehicle by making it that much more efficient.
Tesla says that 23% better thermal efficiency improvement in these hot conditions actually brings back seven miles of extra range in the YL.
So the vehicle gets longer, gets a bit heavier, but with all that said, it extends its range without having to add a significant amount of energy to the battery pack.
And in fact, even the solar energy reflection off of the glass roof is eight times, uh, improved over previous versions.
So you get faster cooling, and in that sense, you're getting some range back.
Absolutely.
Powershare comes in.
Now, there is a slight bit of a catch.
You've got to set up a Powerwall 3 to be able to then offload the power onto your property at your home.
So it does come with an extended or an extra cost, and it's got to be the latest and greatest Powerwall to be able to tap into Powershare.
But of course, the Cybertruck gets it.
We do.
