Why swim in water when you can just walk?! We’d love to hear from you.
He had just fed over 5,000 people with only five loaves of bread and two fish.
And after that, he just wanted some R&R, rest and relaxation.
So Jesus told his 12 disciples, Hey disciples, get in that boat and go across the lake.
I'll package up with you later.
So the disciples left Jesus, got into their boat, and started rowing across the big lake called the Sea of Galilee.
At first, everything was fine.
The water was smooth and the stars came out.
The moon lit up the water.
It was really, really peaceful.
But then, the wind started to blow.
It blew harder and harder.
And the waves got bigger and bigger, seeing the buildings bouncing up and down on the water.
This isn't good, said the disciple.
It's a huge storm.
The disciples rowed and rowed.
The wind kept pushing against them.
It was in the middle of the night and they were so tired and scared.
Stuck in the middle of the water during a storm is no fun.
Suddenly they saw something or someone walking on the water.
They stared, their hearts pounded.
They cried out.
It's a ghost.
