When you bring Jesus to a party, He does miracles. We’d love to hear from you.
[upbeat music] One day, Jesus and His friends were invited to a wedding.
[laughs] I love weddings.
I love the dancing, the food, and [laughs] somebody got married, which is the best part.
Weddings back then were big celebrations that lasted for lots and lots of days.
In those days, wine was something people drank at special parties like weddings, like this one, and there was lots and lots and lots of it.
They were having too much fun.
[gentle music] Mary, the mother of Jesus, noticed this and went to Jesus.
We should do something about it." Jesus gently told her, "Mom, it's not my time yet." But Mary believed Jesus could help.
She believed in her son, so she told the servants, "Do whatever Jesus tells you." "Okay, lady," said the servants.
So Jesus saw stone jars nearby.
Each jar could hold lots and lots of water, like huge bucket loads of water.
Jesus told the servants, "Fill the jars with water all the way to the tippy-top." And then He winked at them.
Ding.
[laughs] "Okay, Jesus," said the servants.
"Why did He wink at us?" said one servant to the other.
"I don't know," the other servant replied.
"I guess we'll find out." "Okay, Jesus," said the servants.
So they filled them all the way to the tippy-top.
Then Jesus said, "Now take some of that water out, and give it to the person in charge of the party." "Okay, Jesus," said the servants.
So they did what Jesus said.
The person in charge of the party tasted it and was shocked.
It wasn't water anymore.
