We all have ambitions and hopes for our career but time passes and we don't see any progress. It would be a mistake to chalk this up to fate instead of a lack of progress that comes from a lack of…
But today, we want to jump right into the idea of your career and why you're not getting ahead or seemingly not getting ahead.
So the idea of getting ahead in your career is only as good as your destination.
And that's ultimately one of the first reasons why you might not be getting ahead is because you have a loose sense of where it is you should be going.

I wasn't really aware of my every motion and every decision creating the road that I was actually walking on.
And honestly, there are years of my life in coffee where I was just used to working day in and day out, day in and day out.
And You get those small victories and you get the encouragement of the moment and being in the moment is fine.
I'm definitely a big fan of the idea that we need to be able to cultivate and extract joy from the work that we do now.
However, you also are working toward something and For example, if you are a barista and you began that work just with a fascination of coffee, eventually your eyes were opened up to what the world of coffee could offer you.
oh, what would it be like to own my own coffee shop? And oftentimes it just stops there.
And you have that thought, but then the next thing comes up and you do that next thing and that next thing, et cetera.
