I didn't really rehearse that one very well, did I? She had a good, she's been good, she had a bad day.
So, I guess, what stood out from this game other than Lainey Rouse? I mean, again, not trying to criticize her.
And it felt like whenever we did have the actual chance to score, we couldn't finish.
And we talked about this last week as well, where it just felt like it was hitting crossbar, hitting crossbar.
This one wasn't hitting the crossbar necessarily, but it was... you know, feed off of the goal that just, they just weren't on targets.
I think the biggest thing for me was the fact that they, so I say this in this way, they lost the effort stats.
But that meant that they lost a lot of the 1v1 dual stats that this team has always won.
which is kind of crazy, to the current's 15, and the current had possession of the ball for only 42%.
So that meant they were dangerous, sure, in the moments that they had the ball, but the fact that San Diego makes 41 clearances is a lot of long, hopeful passes that didn't connect, which is why you're sitting there where you're passing – accuracy is sitting at 77% especially and it's below 75% in the opposition half and the final third 32% on accurate long balls so the passing was bad the effort stats defensively were bad the fact that they lost the duels the 40 so San Diego wins 45 duels to the current 31 total and that like that those are the things that when you look at a game like Obviously, they put in almost twice as many tackles.
