Hello and thank you for tuning in to another episode of Just Get A Real Job with your host me, Jamie McKinlay.
How's it going? I haven't done an episode where it's just been me sort of checking in, talking to you guys in a while.
I just wanted to do a very short episode to check in with the listeners to talk to you guys because I used to do intros on this podcast for many years, but now I just sort of go straight into the conversation and I don't really get a chance to directly speak to to you guys and to sort of let you know what i'm up to and maybe tell you about some of the things that are going on behind the scenes with just get a real job in in my own life but firstly i just want to say a massive massive thank you to all of you listeners over the last few months this podcast has really grown a lot and it's been really really good fun to have a bit more time to spend making this show and i think that's been very telling in the episodes i'm really really proud of some of the conversations i've had over the summer and some of the guests we've been able to get on the show as well and we also celebrated 200 years 200 years what the hell am i on about we also celebrated 200 episodes of just get a real job a few weeks ago i got to have matt hickman brown bear um who have obviously had on this podcast so many times over the years but I had him on to mark 200 episodes a few weeks ago, and that was really special.
And it was lovely to have some of you guys getting in touch to congratulate the podcast on its 200th episode and to sort of share some of your favorite memories, favorite episodes from the show as well.
