So I wanted to update you, no one's asked, but I wanted to update you on my planter, right? And so, as you know, we've had the garden done, I've got my planter at the back and I'm starting to think about what's what.

Now, Lorna has also been thinking about her garden and she sent me a message and she was like, do you need any compost, right? Because basically she'd completely over-ordered.

On closer inspection, Lorna realized while she had ordered compost it was more of a manure type situation so it smelt awful right but she was like you just need to mix it with soil it's real organic stuff like really nice stuff So I was like, OK, got it in the car.

John had to drive around most of the afternoon on Saturday with the windows open to try and get rid of the awful smell.

It's like proper, you know, when you're a kid and you're driving past the field and you're like, it's like that smell.

The sort of smell you grew up with, darling, of course, being, you know, in the Yorkshire Dales.

Got it home, lugged it in, was slightly hungover on Sunday, but I was like, no, today's the day.

And mixed it all in with my soil, was splitting the bags, shaking it all in, this bloody awful smell, like coming through the house.

put it all in my planter, filled it up, lovely, moved some of the plants that had survived, though they don't look very happy to have been moved, popped them in.

Foxes had dug the whole thing up, flicked it all around, thrown it across the garden, and absolutely shit everywhere.
