The Problem is Not the Problem: Changing the Story You Tell Yourself

And so the last few days, a few people have had to cancel last minute.

Things have been rescheduled.

I was with my partner the other night in a job that he really thought, you know, all the interviews had gone amazing.

And he was like, I'm getting it.

This is happening.

He's like, we're celebrating.

And he came in after that last interview and he said, oh, my God, I didn't get it.

And, of course, he was sad and upset and, you know, there was the grief of not just the not getting it, but the, you know, the years that sort of was taken away from him that he thought was going to look a certain way.

And the reason why I want to share this with you is that this is so potent.

We can look at absolutely anything in life else.

Yay, this is happening for my highest good.

Thank you, universe.

I love you.

There is a God.

There is love.

There is song.

Or we can look at anything from the lens of, oh my God, I'm somehow not enough.

I somehow failed.

This person doesn't like me.

Absolutely anything.

I'm going to start singing.

Anything in your life tells the story you want to hear.

And even if it's a story that you think you don't want to hear, but it's still the one you're hearing.

So, my loves out there.
