Now, this morning, between, say, 6 o'clock and 10 o'clock in the morning, you were either in bed or you were in bedlam.
The skies opened up.
And this was really due to this surge of moisture that we had with a warm front.
And we did have this upper trough and a short wave coming around it.
So timing sort of set up perfectly for this corridor.
heavy rain to traverse the area from west to east and some places got as little as a half an inch while other places saw nearly three inches.
Golden Droplet goes to in Nassau County in Port Washington 2.73 but everybody had measurable rainfall today.
Whereas Saturday, they were a little more concerned about being potentially a washout of sorts earlier in the week and even up until about the beginning of Thursday.
Saturday turned out to be okay.
We were in between frontal systems.
