And then you have to ask yourself, would you have just walked out too? And then for the guys, would you have walked out as well? Or would you have been pissed that the person walked out? Okay.

So a woman shared online that she was enjoying a date when the conversation turned it just went left about an upcoming movie the odyssey and this was back in july she mentioned lapita no young playing helen of troy in that particular movie the odyssey according to her when she asked why see he had a date with the black woman playing the Helena Thorne so when she asked him why he explained that he did not believe a black woman fits the image of a woman described as extraordinarily beautiful and so she was offended so at that point she decided okay I've had enough of this I ain't gonna sit up here and let him demean on black women okay so she got up and she didn't laugh Okay, we're talking about that.

Was she right for doing that? Should she have done that? Or should she have just given the young man, the man an opportunity to explain himself? What do you guys think?
To see, you know, that that's where tonight conversation starts dot B, because this is bigger than a movie.
You know, the real question is, you know, can 1 comment truly reveal enough about a person for you to end the date immediately? You know, do you stay and hear them out? You know, that's what I probably would do or do you challenge what they say? I'll probably do that too.
Or do you decide, you know, right then and there that, you know, the values are too different and you need to move on and go your separate ways?

And so to me, you know, it depends on, you know, of course, this is being their first, maybe second date or whatever, and that was a red flag.

I believe that's true enough because everybody... is going to have disagreements.

The issue is whether a simple difference of opinion or whether the comment reveals something deeper about the person, how that person sees race.

You know, definitely if that person was racist, you want to get up and leave, right? How that person sees beautiful.

Think that no black women are beautiful enough to play Helen of Troy, okay? Or people, relationships, or the world in general.
