Hello and welcome to the Irish Marketing Podcast powered by IMJ and Tinpop Productions.

There were representatives from the major platforms, YouTube, Meta, and TikTok, and from the Advertising Standards Authority.

After the conference, I sat down with IAB CEO Suzanne McElligott and two of the creators who also featured on the panel, they being Aideen Fitzmaurice and Kevin Penrose, to discuss why the IAB was putting together this seminar and why the timing is right now.

How can we as an industry educate more about it? How can we share best practice? How can we develop the standards? That's why we've become involved in this space right now.

And we also spoke about the creative perspective on some of the issues being debated, such as trust and transparency, grappling with the algorithm.

You could wake up tomorrow and reels don't have the same power as carousels and you move with it.

Before we get to that, can I remind you to like, follow and comment on the podcast? It's always appreciated.

The perspective from the industry body and from two creators who are at the forefront of their industry.
