🔥 Are we repeating the same sins that brought God’s judgment in the days of Noah, Babel, and Sodom and Gomorrah? The Bible repeatedly shows that God is love—but there comes a point when He says…

We are looking at some situations in the Old Testament where God said, enough is enough, and he brought judgment down upon the people.

Why are we studying that on Insights? Well, because most everyone I meet and talk to are convinced they're going to heaven because God is love.

And there's nothing more than, hey, God is love, so of course I'm going to heaven.

I've had so many people tell me, first of all, they ask me, what do you do? And so I usually answer in a fashion that says, well, I'm a Christian.

I've had different titles, different roles, but the first statement is always the same.

Then what you're doing comes secondary, because you could change careers or jobs or locations very, very quickly.

Anyways, they'll then say to me after I answer, I'm a minister, I'm a pastor of a church.

Anyways, I've been looking at judgments that have been brought down by God because people didn't do things the way they should do them.

And we saw that in Noah's case, the first major, major, major judgment that hits the earth was the flood that wiped out everybody on the earth except Noah, his wife, his three boys, and their wives, eight people plus those animals, two of every kind and several, there were several there, there were more than two, but the majority were two of every kind, a male and a female, a male and a female, so they could recreate or procreate and replenish the earth.

Wickedness, evil intent in the heart, every thought was evil, corruption and violence.
