Although I've never given up, I feel like I keep restarting instead of progressing.

How do you build consistency and momentum when you genuinely want to change but can't seem to stay committed long term?

Well, I think there's A few things with this, I suppose, starting off with her saying that her biggest challenge is nutrition and using food for comfort.

journey to getting fit and healthy because I definitely put all my healthy habits as one habit.

So if I wasn't eating really well and exercising and doing other like bedtime morning routine, I wasn't succeeding.

and I find this a lot with many women actually when it comes to them getting fit and healthy is that they have the food so like on the highest platform of like if they don't have this right everything else is shit and I do feel that when you wrap up your success failure with food you're gonna you're gonna end up the way she's describing a cycling

what I what has worked for me is to allow myself to have those things with food running alongside progression.

So, I mean, I still sometimes have a week where I'm having an ice cream on the couch every night, but I don't really it's OK. I'm still doing all the other healthy habits and I'm still like really fit and healthy.

So I think if she were to let go of that for a while, just forget about the fact that she's comfort eating and forget about the fact she's having a challenge with food and just say, well, look, that's an area where I'm just going to work at having three meals.

I'm going to focus on getting fit and Because there's such empowerment in getting fit.

And I really do truly believe once you start focusing on actually getting strong and noticing how many sit-ups you're doing and noticing how many press-ups you're doing, that all that negative shit can fall away and you will naturally over time eat that little bit healthier.

I mean, you might, of course, still comfort eat, but it won't be as extreme as now.

And like a part of it is exactly as you say, like if when all of us had started the kind of thriver journey and thought, oh my God, I'm going to be able to do this amount of sit-ups, this amount of press-ups.
