Jacquelyn Fletcher JohnsonHostYou have an incredible, beautiful voice, and yet you're scared to use it.
That makes me so sad, and I just want to somehow transplant into your brain that you are really good at it.
I literally just had a conversation with a woman who was canceled publicly online and in really big ways.
And she got death threats and her business was targeted and things happened to her in the real world because she was targeted online.
It is scary to think about using your voice in the world that we live in now.
But I can tell you that if you don't use your voice, if you don't step up, if you don't get the courage to say what you have to say, what you were born to say... to use the gifts that you were given, it's going to cost you something.
It's going to cost the people that come across your words, your voice.
Whether you write it down, whether you make videos, whether you get on stages, you have something to say.
And what that means to me is you don't just get up on that stage and say what you think everybody else wants you to say.
It does not mean getting up on a stage and people pleasing the heck out of the audience and saying what you think you're supposed to say that will lead to something shiny in the future.
It is not about you writing the smart book, the book that you think is going to make the New York Times bestsellers lists.
