Ep#881: Are You Thirsty for Transformation? Orange Juice Story

You see, everybody says they want success.

Success in their career, success in their leadership, success as a CEO, success as an IT professional, success as a father, success as a parent, success as a mother.

But there's a difference between wanting it and being hungry for it.

It's easy to say, yeah, yeah, I'm really committed.

It's easy to say that.

But when it comes to actually going after it, That's where the real difference is made.

So let me share a story with you that perfectly illustrates this.

There are three people and all of them want the orange juice.

So imagine this, the first person wakes up in the middle of the afternoon and says, I want an orange soda.

I want a glass of orange soda and I want it real bad.

So they head to the refrigerator.

There is no orange juice.

They look outside and say, it's snowing.

So it's snowing outside.

So they just settle for a glass of water and they say, you know what? Actually, it's snowing outside, so I don't want the orange juice.

They thought they wanted the orange juice, but they did not want it bad enough to step out into the cold.

Second person wakes up and says the same thing.

I want orange juice, and I want it real bad.

They put on their hat, their coat, their gloves, and they head out into the snow.

They walk.

They keep walking.

They keep walking.

They walk three miles, and they go inside the corner store, but it's closed.

But they keep walking a little bit more, and they see another store, and they get up.

can of cold drink like a soda and when they get back home they say yeah i did not want it that bad so they thought they wanted orange juice but they just settled for the soda did you get it And then there's the third person.
