The Adventures Of Baron Munchausen

It is the unofficial conclusion.

I say unofficial because there's no linkage between the films in this trilogy.

But his trilogy of imagination, starting with Time Bandits in 1981, then you have Brazil in 1985, and then this.

This is such... a weird movie and I'm so excited to talk to you about it because there is so much going on here.

I mean, number one, it's one of my favorite things.

You know it, you love it.

It's a failed production.

It was real bad.

It's bad.

The movie is bad.

You mean? Oh, I just meant the production was bad.

Oh, yes, yes.

The production was very bad.

And the movie is so interesting to me, especially right now, because I look at these gorgeous, gorgeous handmade sets and these incredible flights of imagination and And this entire movie that's predicated on the power of storytelling and, you know, yes, technically IP, but a bit of IP so, you know, so unfamiliar to most audiences, it would feel like a new kind of story.

And all of that feels really exciting.

And then you look at what it all amounted to and you're like...

I don't know, though.

I don't know.

I have a lot of conflicted feelings about what's going on here, and I'm so interested to know what you felt about it.

Well, I have a confession that I didn't actually watch the movie.

I had Craig watch it and

tell me about it so that I watched The Adventures of Baron Munchausen by proxy.
