Monday.
The beginning of this week saw me anxiously walking the perimeter of the hotel's moat as Sophia and I put our heads together.
We now had someone who, however begrudgingly, had gained a time travel license.
Now, all that was needed was for us to figure out who from the past was the best person to bring to the present, to help finally fix the issues with Labyrinth Park.
We came up with a list of names, pulling all of our top picks from our previous discussions.
It was not a done thing, though.
We still needed to go back and actually ask these people if they wanted to help.
Sophia would handle that part.
My objective was much more uncomfortable.
I still have yet to talk to the producer about his help with actually time-traveling to meet these prospective architects.
Good luck, Sophia told me as I left.
I checked in with the library today to see how the volunteer program was shaping up.
Saoirse had rejoined, which seemed to lift the rather... rather glum spirits of everyone present today.
They have had a couple of run-ins with each other that have everyone on edge.
There is a sense the trio, or the duo, will explode at the other given the first hint of disagreement.
It is all civility right now, but it has everyone skittish.
I will try to find time this week to ask both camps what the problem is.
But speaking of which, Saoirse seemed somewhat glum herself.
Was everything all right? Her smile was unconvincing.
Yes, yeah, everything was fine, fine.
I let her hear herself for a moment.
The smile faded.
She has been trying to talk to the producer ever since she, well, ghosted them when she was about to leave the hotel.
Nothing yet? I asked.
