Jennifer HanHostWhat is the first time you realized there was actually a dilemma between money or love when choosing a partner?
I think for me it was after I lost my job and I had to quickly go and like make my own money on my own because I didn't want to return to corporate.
And at the time I lost my job, I guess the first time, I was still with my ex and he... stepped up and he was like I'll take care of you until you find your job and I was like wow that's actually really important to me yeah and I didn't even know because like love love can make you feel emotionally secure but how how will that pay your rent so that's when I realized like wow this is really important to me

Was there like a new feeling of being cared for that you didn't experience before? Yeah.

I have this joke that like I don't take advice from married people because or like people that are in long term relationships because to be single, like through your late 20s and early 30s and probably like, I don't know, let's not say anything past that.

But to be single through your late 20s and early 30s and not to have anyone to fall back on is its own stressor that I think single people don't get enough airtime for.
