There's Something About Mary (Roff)

Mary Roth was born on October 8th, 1846.

Whoa.

1846.

That's a

long time ago.

In Indiana.

She was one of 10 children of Asa and Ann Roth.

They're popping out those babies.

it's wild how many kids people used to have

well so many of them didn't live past like infancy or past their early years so when you think about it that way too it's like

you gotta pop a bunch out so you can keep at least one or two okay

i wasn't gonna say it so bluntly but yeah that's rough

yeah it's rough

oh oh All right.

We're here.

We're ready.

So yeah, it wasn't uncommon at that time.

And the Roths did lose several of their children, either in infancy or when they were barely toddlers.

That's sad.

I also want to double back and say it's sad when you lose children.

I'm not trying to make that so much light of it.

Jesus.

It was probably better before you said

that.

Salt circle.
