Send us Fan Mail Join me this week as I discuss the art of tuning into your intuition with Intuitive Teacher Gwyneth Flack. I loved this…
Gwyneth FlackGuestKelseyHostShe's an intuitive awareness teacher, has books about transforming your life with intuition and has worked with hundreds of people at least on all of these things.
So thank you for being here today and I think we just kind of had a little conversation before this but What I loved and I think we should dive into immediately is intuition, recognizing that voice inside and then kind of moving into some of the clairvoyance realm of things.
Awesome.
So, you know, I think my favorite thing as far as intuition goes, when people are like, well, how do you know if it's intuition or if it's fear or just an idea or whatever? And for me, I feel like the most true statement is like, intuition is just a very like quiet whisper that's consistent, you know, and then fear or other things, distractions are usually like high energy and like, die quickly, you know, here today, gone tomorrow type things.
Um, but anyway, that's just kind of my first definition, but what, what are your thoughts and how do you kind of get people started on the intuitive track?

I mean, it is really, it's a process of recognizing really the difference between what your, the energy of your intuition or the vibrational frequency of your intuition and or the, you know, the way it comes across, like what you were saying, I mean, it is gentle, and it's calm, and it's grounded, and it's always supportive to you, it's always guiding you toward more of your purpose, more of your own authenticity, or more of you in terms of your health and wellness, whatever it might be, versus like competing, you know, the intellectual part of ourselves, meaning just the part of ourselves that's been trained since kindergarten to compete within an academic system and, you know, get done all those checklists and rise to a certain level of, you know, whatever accomplishment.

Yeah, like that part will be more, that'll give us a message that might be judgmental sounding, like it'll come as self-judgment or it'll come as fear or it'll come as competition, feelings of not being good enough or that we need to urgently do something to achieve something.

So, you know, it's like we need to, to work with that part of ourselves to manage it, to manage the intellectual part of ourselves so it doesn't dominate and just push us along all the time and take up all the space.

You know what I mean? It's like a loud talker or, you know, somebody that's talking on their phone in the quiet cafe.

Kind of like that in a lot of ways, if we don't learn to manage it and recognize it and kind of, you know, we can manage it with humor and we can manage it just with our awareness.

But if it takes up all the space, like the loud cell phone talker, you know, metaphor, then it's like, we can't hear.

And it is there all the time, but we absolutely don't get any in, in our normal world.

We don't get the training and especially the validation that yes, it is there, but It does take some practice to really work with it and access it.

So yeah, we're innately intuitive, but if we don't practice that relationship and build that relationship, build that, build that space, give it space or build that muscle, you know, metaphorically speaking, then really the intellect is going to drive us along.

If we don't learn to manage it, it's giving us all kinds of chatter and, you know, feedback based on past experiences.
