Why do people do this? A month ago, I went on a date with a girl, and it was amazing.
Two days after the date, she texts me telling me she found me cool and attractive, but doesn't wanna continue this further.
A month later, she texts me saying I was on her mind, and that she'd like to be friends, but that she's talking to someone and it's serious.
I reply back saying I was surprised to receive the message, and she ends it by saying we shouldn't be friends out of respect of the person she's, she's dating.
Why do people do this? Dating is hard.
Okay, people don't do this.
[laughs]
This person does this.
You need a red flag somewhat.
[laughs]
Yeah, seriously.
I don't know.
[stutters] That's red red, okay?
[laughs]
That's just...
It's not right.
That's not right, okay? This is...
Clearly, she was just fishing for, like, attention, I guess.
I, like, w- 'cause why the fuck would you do this? Why would you, like, be seeing someone seriously and then decide to text a guy that you met previously but you didn't really want to continue, you know, the relationship with, and then the person responds, and you're like, "Ah, I'm sorry.
I, we, we shouldn't do this." Make up your mind, okay? And you're clearly not serious enough with the person you're s- supposedly serious with, because if you were serious, you wouldn't be doing this, okay? Like, why are you throwing out a net? Like, do, do not...
I...
People don't do this, okay? I'm telling you, original poster, you, you...
People don't do this.
This person does this.
And this person added, "Dating is hard." It's hard when you choose, when you just look at people like this.
