“Through the Door” | S1 E37 | A Wizard's Folly - Heroic Round Podcast

Mac has turned into metal mouse and he escaped through a very small opening in the rubble to be able to reach outside of the collapse tower of Damon's retreat.

And it was critical because he is still under the effects of Gilbert, which make it so that he can't breathe air.

He can only breathe water.

So he did, as Brandon put it, a little mouse cannonball into the water and and he is swimming and breathing and recovering because he was squished pretty good and destroyed by a lot of rubble.

Nigh unto flat.

Yes.

Yes.

So he is right now in the pond outside of Damon's retreat, breathing deeply of the water.

Now, coming inside, it is a crush and a press of hundreds of tons of rock and rubble.

The whole place is falling apart, and the tree, this ancient oak that's been here, is also taking a huge brunt of damage, snapping limbs, breaking.

Burdette was somewhere in the upper floors, screaming about her research.

You can't hear her at this point.

You're not sure what's going on.

Now, Flavius, you were able to push and shift and fight against the rubble as it was crushing you.

You were pinned against a chest, one of the treasure chests that you decided to carry with you, which caused you to get trapped in the collapsing tower.

You were able to push and press against it enough that you were able to open that chest and push and create a little bit of space so that you are actually not being crushed actively, but you have a little bit of a, of a little.

And

I've regained my, I've regained my shield.

Yes, you have

your

shield.

I have it in my hand, but it's not on me.

You have the corner of it in your hand, but you haven't pulled it free of the rubble yet.

This was achieved with a natural 20.

Yes.
