From condos and Key Clubs to Kiwanis

Great.

So a little background, my club is turning 100 this year.

So we are very excited about that.

But we do also have an older demographic and a lot of our members are retirees.

So I have a certain couple that live in a condominium and they have gone with flyers and information packets or just a little invitation card to their local neighbors and just invited them.

And they have that friendly personality and just want to engage in and get more people on board to serve.

Okay.

So where did they find the resources for those flyers or those information pieces? Did they create them on their own or your club? I mean, create them on their own or did they have a template? Where did that idea come from?

I believe what they did was they have little invitation cards that we made.

Okay.

And it just mentions the time that we meet and where.

And it was actually for an invitation to a free lunch.

So that's

amazing.

At any age, that's a deal.

Absolutely.

And I think other times if an event would come up, they would say, hey, here's our flyer for our local event and project that we're doing.

Come join me.

See what it's all about firsthand.

Okay.

Well, I would say that, you know, a lot of Kiwanis clubs can create their own resources or printed invitation cards or flyers.

But Kiwanis.org, our website, always has templates that you can use for this kind of invitation and flyer process.

So let's make sure that we let folks know that they can find an easy way to get that done.

And so then they distributed them.
