Linda, tell us how you got involved in Kiwanis.

Excellent.

Well, certainly Punta Gorda is a beautiful area, and I'm very proud to be in that club.

My SLP experience, Service Leadership Program, started in Key Club.

I actually joined when I was a first freshman, and I was asked.

We had a bunch of tables around, and I was just... like interested in joining something, you know, wasn't sure quite what that looked like and definitely liked to give back.

So Key Club was definitely a great fit for me.

So how did a young person find their way to a Kiwanis Club that, as you mentioned, might have more senior members in it? What's that experience like for you? And how do you bridge that?
