I was recently speaking to a couple of very new entrepreneurs we're talking just launching they were sharing with me that they were really nervous about sharing their business idea that they had on social media they didn't feel comfortable doing it because they were worried about what all of their old colleagues would think.

And I know if you're listening, you might not be brand new entrepreneur or even a new entrepreneur, but we know that this still stops us.

What will people think? What will people think about the post that you never write because you're worried about how it will upset someone? What about the newsletter where you don't express more deeper ideas because you're worried about all the unsubscribes? What about the podcast you don't record? Because if you did, it would be a story that's highly personal and you don't want people to judge you for it.

Even now, after years and years of doing this, 13 years of doing this, there will still be times when I create something, especially on the podcast where I tend to tell you everything, that I'm like, am I really doing this? Am I really putting this out there? What will people think? The most downloaded episodes I've had, the best engagement, the best, honestly, even opportunities that have come to me have always been when I had that thought, what will someone think? And I went past it because it's a signal that you're getting into something deeper.

I'm not saying that there's loads of things to keep to yourself that you don't need to.
