It's been a little while because life has been really busy with things that I can reveal to you in a little bit of time, but they're all really good things.

And, you know, I did what I always do when life gets a bit busy, which is put my Little podcast, my passion project on hold, but I'm super excited to have recorded a few interviews again now and I will be drip feeding them to you in the near future.

So this is episode number 111 and my guest today is Pinky Beecroft.

Pinky, some of you might know him as Matt Ford, played in Machine Gun Fallatio.

He started the band The White Russians after that, and now after many, many years, he has put out a solo album.

Lonesome Wolf is out 14th of August.

We had such a lovely chat about his musical journey to this album, and I really appreciate his honesty and humor about his past and his thoughts about music and the creative arts in Australia.

And we chat about all kinds of things like watching Steely Dan with his siblings, the dilemma of pleasing fans of songs that you can't necessarily relate to anymore.

Why do we release music? We talk about his development as a singer and we do try for a quick fire round at the end, which kind of disintegrates into music.

um, a not so quick fire round in the best way possible.
