So imagine that you're standing in a beautiful meadow on a stunning afternoon, lazing about with your companions, flowers everywhere, narcissus, poppies, wildflowers, the sun warming your skin.

And honestly, isn't that where so many of our stories begin? In the meadow, before we really know what we now know.

It was very true to the myth, right? Like, I just remember thinking, poor Persephone, oh my goodness, she's taken from her mama in this beautiful meadow and the life she's always known.

And then Poor Demeter, a mama, like, in grief and rage and just, like, hunting for her child.

And, you know, just her angst and her sadness are so deep that it sucks the life out of the earth, right? She turns the season with her emotion.

And then, like these old stories tend to do, Persephone kept finding me at different places in my own spiral.

And I was completely captivated by their interpretation of Persephone, right? She knew the underworld.

She moved through it and still she carried this like wild, vibrant life inside her.

And then at some point I watched an episodal show on Netflix called Chaos with a K.
