I can't believe this is a thing, but it feels like as I turn on any sort of financial news, all I hear is the sky is falling, oil, the Strait of Hormuz, real estate, interest rates, inflation.

It seems like it's all bad news, and then on Tuesday, the Dow breaks the all-time record.

That's what they [laughs] they love to say on Wall Street, and right now the trend is higher.

Is it gonna be huge? Pro- Maybe one of the biggest things that's ever happened in our lifetimes? Yes, I believe so.

Uh, h- how are we gonna get there? The markets saying it's not gonna be as bumpy as what people think, and you've got all this craziness going on in Iran.

You've got this craziness going on in the Middle East, and g- gas prices are still high.

Oil prices are coming down [laughs], so apparently pe- people believe this last truce.

Uh, again, I'm not ne- necessarily, not sure I get it, but, uh, it's, it's great for the market.

I mean, CNN ran a headline that said, "Wall Street is in the midst of quarterly earnings.

As of July 31st, about 61% of companies in the S&P 500 had reported earnings, with 86% of those companies reporting a positive surprise on earnings per share, measure of profitability, according to FactSet." I mean, this is really pretty amazing because I do feel like right now in America, I hear sort of a, the tale of, of two cities, if you will.

I'm hearing a lot of people who are really struggling just to make their ends meet and make their bills, and then the people who are heavily invested in the stock market are saying, "Man, has it ever been better?" Uh, it, it's really interesting, the divide that's happening right now, and I don't know that I would have guessed that 61% of reported earnings, 86% of those companies reporting a positive surprise.

Uh, look, you look at what AI is doing, you know, a- and as far as not what the build-out of the AI data centers, but what it's already doing in some companies.

Uh, Facebook's earnings are huge because of AI, because the algorithms they, they put in front of you.
