Reach Out Via Text! In this episode of **The Growing Green Podcast**, Jeremiah dives into one of the biggest challenges every growing business owner…
Jeremiah JenningsHostSo, uh, that has been something that I really have not been prepared for as, [chuckles] as we've kind of grown in business and grown in life and just done a few different things.
It's been a, it's been a blessing, honestly, to be able to go and see and do some of these things.
And, you know, I think a lot of people, you may see the, you may see the trip on social media, and you may be like, "Oh, well, that's nice.
Uh, but, like, the trips are good, but it, it puts a different kind of strain on your business back at home.
Um, I've shared about this a little bit in the past about how team members can feel like they are kind of getting left behind sometimes if you don't do a good job sharing with them exactly what it is that you're doing, to an extent.
Uh, and kind of just guiding them and teaching them and letting them know what you're doing and what your intentions are in, in what you're doing and why they're, why you're leaving, um, so frequently.
And that's something I'm really trying to put a focus on as we move forward and I do some more of this stuff, uh, i- is making sure that our team knows that they are, like, they are valued.
And it's why I said on Monday's show, like, it is the honor of my life to get to have employees that come to work inside of my organization.
Um, and I, and I use the word my there pretty pointedly in a sense of, like, sure, did I create the organization? Yes.
But, like, they're coming to work within it themselves, and they are building it with me, so it is our organization.
Um, I use my saying, like, the creation of it, but they are contributing heavily to the growth of it.
And I, I really do count it a huge honor and a blessing and a responsibility to be able to have them, uh, inside.
And, and I want to make sure they always feel valued, because if they don't, like, they will find another way to provide for themselves.
And I want to make sure that we're giving them the best shot at them doing that, uh, inside of our organization.
But again, making them feel valued, like, it's just a, it's just literally talking.
Like, just talk, just explain, just, um, make sure that they know what you have going on and, uh, try to include them the best way that you possibly can.
