Reach Out Via Text! Entrepreneurship looks a lot different behind the scenes than it does on social media. In this solo episode, Jeremiah gets…
Jeremiah JenningsHostI think that some of the times when you get into a business, you think you go out and cut grass for a living and it's like, yeah, you do cut grass, but like, that's not actually what you're doing as an entrepreneur.
As you, as you start and grow a business, like you're not actually just cutting grass.
You're solving problems for people who you're, you're giving people solutions to problems.
Like, but, Do you want the reward? Do you want the reward of seeing major impact across lots of people? Do you want the reward of being able to go and have your private island or whatever, right? Have your private jets or cars or whatever it is that you're searching for.
Do you want to have infinite funds so you can go drill wells in Africa and get people water across the world? Whatever that is, do you want that? Yes.
I don't share the ins and the outs as like the, the, the day to day absolute numbers and grind of our business, because that's not for like, everybody doesn't get to see that your wins or your loss.
And that's like, as a influencer creator, whatever you want to call it, um, someone who just talks on their phones on stories all day to someone who doesn't have any social media presence at all.
Like only certain people get access to certain things and you need to make sure that you guard that very closely.
I'm very open and pretty raw about what we do and what we go through in our business.
And if you guys saw some of those things that don't make social media, you would think like, what is this dude doing? Like why, how's he still going? And, Over the course of the last five or six years, as our business has grown and gone through phases, we've gone up and down and up and down, it has been an absolute grind.
And there's been good days, bad days, good months, bad months, good years, bad years.
And I think that the more I sit here and think about this video here that Ed's talking about and the principle behind it, and I talk about solving problems all the time.
The more I sit there and really think about that and ponder it and understand it, I'm like, you know what? This kind of is me.
That's not necessarily always a great thing, but it does give me the ability to withstand a lot.
