And I think they just thought that this would be a minor administrative thing or they don't have to make a big deal of it.
Let's not call too much attention to it.
But I also feel like maybe this is related to some of these DOJ rulings in recent history because part of me thinks they probably wouldn't have even told us in the past.
They probably would have just done it.
And in fact, they already did this for Google display campaigns and maybe travel campaigns.
There were a couple of campaigns where they already did this and they didn't say anything.
And they're probably wishing that they hadn't.

I mean, just to come back to what actually happened, the fundamental change is that for every campaign limited by budget, which, I mean, let's face it, a lot of campaigns are limited by budget, the overachieving ROAs compared to your target ROAs, Google claims that this over-efficiency will trend down to the levels you actually set the target ROAs on.
