And the first thing I want to start off with is a fact that many of my listeners probably don't know.

JLL has been recognized 19 times by Ethisphere as one of the world's most ethical companies.

And that's really remarkable because we're not talking a single event or a single year.

So what I want to find out from you is what do organizations have to do differently if they want to sustain ethical cultures over decades rather than just moments?

I would say there's shared partnership and that is generally what we talk about with our employees, right? We as individual employees have an opportunity to create the work environment and the culture that we would like to have here so that means doing the right thing when nobody's looking it means um you know caring about the employee that is sitting next to you so that you speak up when you see something that's wrong um the other thing and and maybe i even should have started with this it's tone from the top you know we we view tone from the top as such a high point that our core values are teamwork, ethics, and excellence.

So when you talk about it's your core, you don't get much more top than that, right? Like it's our core values.

Organizations should be talking about ethics beyond the code of ethics training and certification time period.

Ethics is all year long and it's in, and I feel like very cliche because we say this around here all the time, ethics is in everything we do.
