God has a plan for you. Take 2 minutes with Susie Larson to discover what God wants to do in and through you. Grow in your faith, then go out and live your purpose! This episode draws content from…
In the book of 2 Corinthians 5-7, we read this, For we live by believing, not by seeing.
Why do we need to live by faith and not by sight? Because often what our eyes see contradicts what God's word says.
We like to place God's promises over every moment of our lives and see a perfect alignment at all times, but that will never be our experience this side of heaven.
We'll experience times and seasons when it looks, feels, and even seems like God's promises aren't true at all.
If we tether ourselves to a specific outcome, we'll be perpetually disappointed.
Paul reminds us that though we may think we're at the end of our rope, we're never at the end of our hope.
Where do you need to engage your faith today? What circumstances are holding your gaze and stealing your joy? Remember, faith is for the long journey and promises take time to come to fruition.
But ask any serious praying believer and they'll tell you this, the answers do come.
Once you've learned the secret of abiding in Christ, relying on his word, praying his promises and staying in it for the long haul, you'll never rely on anything else like you rely on God.
